Laminated glass is a composite glass formed by bonding two or more glass panes with adhesive materials such as PVB, SGP, or EVA, offering enhanced safety and multifunctional properties.
Even when shattered, the glass fragments remain adhered to the interlayer, preventing them from scattering.
This is why laminated glass is also referred to as safety glass. Additionally, depending on the characteristics of the interlayer material, laminated glass can provide sound insulation and UV protection to a certain degree.
The bond between the glass and the interlayer ensures that, even when shattered, the glass fragments remain intact and do not scatter, significantly enhancing the safety of the glass.
The interlayer in laminated glass acts as a sound-dampening barrier, effectively reducing noise disturbances. Compared to traditional glass of the same thickness, it offers superior soundproofing performance.

To ensure the glass is free from dust and impurities, which could compromise the bonding quality between the glass and the interlayer, the glass must first undergo thorough cleaning and drying.
The specialized layering room must maintain constant temperature and humidity levels to ensure optimal bonding results. The glass and interlayer are then assembled in a sandwich-like structure during this process.
The layered glass is passed through a roller press to remove any trapped air between the glass and the interlayer, ensuring a seamless bond.
After the initial roller pressing, the laminated glass is placed in an autoclave for further processing. Under controlled conditions of temperature (125°C–140°C) and pressure (14 atmospheres), the glass and interlayer are securely bonded, ensuring both clarity and structural integrity.
