Gel-filled fire-rated glass is a specialized fire-resistant glazing composed of two glass sheets, with edges sealed and bonded using glass spacers or similar intermediate strips. The cavity between the panes is filled with an acrylamide-based fire-resistant gel, which cures to form a transparent, gel-like interlayer fully bonded to the glass, achieving the required fire-resistance rating.
Double-glass configuration only.
Thickness:16-60mm
High Thermal Insulation: The acrylamide gel expands under high temperatures, forming a dense thermal barrier that effectively blocks flames and heat transfer.
Excellent Light Transmittance: Once cured, the gel remains highly transparent, allowing natural light and clear sightlines, keeping interiors bright.
Enhanced Safety: Even if the glass breaks, the gel interlayer maintains structural integrity, reducing the risk of injury from flying fragments.
