High-Borosilicate Monolithic Fire-Rated Glass

This fire-resistant glass is made from monolithic high-borosilicate glass, providing superior fire performance. During a fire, it maintains structural integrity, resisting breakage and spalling, effectively blocking the passage of flames and smoke.

Monolithic Structure: Thickness ranges from 5 to 15 mm.

  • Low Thermal Expansion: High-borosilicate glass has a low coefficient of thermal expansion, resisting cracking or deformation under intense flames while maintaining excellent chemical stability and mechanical performance.
  • High Softening Temperature: Able to withstand elevated temperatures without structural compromise.
  • Lightweight: More than 10% lighter than ordinary glass.
  • High Mechanical Strength: Provides enhanced durability and impact resistance.
  • Nickel-Free: Contains no nickel, eliminating NiS crystallization and reducing the risk of spontaneous breakage.
  • Thin Yet Fire-Resistant: Achieves high fire-resistance ratings (e.g., 1 hour or more) even at relatively thin thicknesses.
  • Ultra-Clear Transparency: Offers high visible light transmittance, with up to 92% VLT.
