This glass is constructed from two or more sheets bonded with a specially formulated nano-silica fire-resistant interlayer. Under normal conditions, it appears clear and resembles standard laminated glass. During a fire, the high temperature causes the nano-silica interlayer to expand and foam, forming a dense white insulating layer that effectively blocks flames, smoke, and heat transfer, safeguarding people and property on the opposite side.
