Ceramic Glass

Ceramic glass is a glass product with rich colors and patterns, created by using screen printing technology to apply one or more layers of inorganic glaze (also known as ink) onto the glass surface, followed by heating, baking, tempering, or semi-tempering to permanently sinter the glaze onto the glass surface.

Product Structure

  • Maximum size:2440*3660mm
  • Thickness:3-25mm

Key Features

  • Highly Decorative: It can be crafted into a wide variety of patterns and colors according to requirements. The color is stable and does not fade. Using inorganic glaze, the color tone lasts as long as the building glass.
  • High Safety: It is a type of safety glass. After tempering (or semi – tempering) treatment, its strength and safety are enhanced. It has all the characteristics of tempered (or semi – tempered) glass. Additionally, it can be made into frit – coated laminated glass to further increase wind pressure resistance and safety.
  • Good Sun – shading Effect: The frit has a reflective and absorptive effect on sunlight. The shading coefficient Sc is related to the frit coverage rate. When it is fully covered, the Sc is approximately 0.32; when it is 50% covered, the Sc is approximately 0.66.
  • Excellent Anti – glare Property: The patterned frit – coated glass can reduce glare due to its orderly printing, and it has a mitigating effect on the afternoon sun and direct sunlight.
  • Lightweight Material: It can replace building materials such as stone and ceramic tiles, reducing the structural load of the building’s exterior wall. It is also easy to construct.

Applications

  • Architectural exterior wall glass
  • architectural daylighting canopy
  • interior decorative partition
